Year of the Snake II

This level was finished nearly two months ago, but to tell
the truth I never got around to writing this.
Well, that makes very little sense as I AM writing it now,
but I should have done so sooner.

YotS2 is essentially a port of the old version, with a few
changes: namely, some textures are a little different, I
took the liberty to add a few signs, animated and non-
animated, retextured the advanced lifter (don't worry, it
doesn't suck too badly) and there are flag bases now.

The texturing, apart from that, is exactly the same,
unless you count the lava, which doesn't make much of a
difference save actually lighting itself in DMB2 (I REALLY
don't know why the D1 textures for energy centres/lava
couldn't have done the same).

The weapon loadout has a few subtle differences; the
lasers have become superlasers (and there are a few less
of them, as you don't need 3 powerups to hit max), there
are two gauss cannons and two E2S converters, only one
smart missile, a merc and a flash. The rest is still the
same old balance, even to the lengths of the three vulcan
cannons.

Year of the Snake 2 has, like its predecessor, been play-
tested a few times before release, so don't worry about
playability, unless you have different tastes to the play
testers. The recommended player count is the same, and the
only new supported game modes are hoard and flag. Co-op is
still not widely supported; you have a robot penned up
behind a grate and the reactor. Not much fun.

There ARE co-op levels, even sets, out there though. :)
